The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,155.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Harold Clayton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Flowers In A White Pot in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,645.54).
