Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Remorqueurs, Marseille by Harmen Meurs was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harmen Meurs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Etalagepoppen in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 105,750.00 (€ 50,828.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Remorqueurs, Marseille von Harmen Meurs kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harmen Meurs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Etalagepoppen im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 105.750,00 (€ 50.828,39).
