It achieved a price of GBP 1,208,750.00 (€ 1,413,224.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harald Sohlberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Old Captain’s House, Winter Afternoon, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 2,677,000.00 (€ 3,193,099.49).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.208.750,00 (€ 1.413.224,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Für andere Arbeiten von Harald Sohlberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Old Captain’s House, Winter Afternoon beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 2.677.000,00 (€ 3.193.099,49) versteigert wurde.
