Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Beach view from the South by Harald Jerichau was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. It achieved a price of DKK 9,500.00 (€ 1,274.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harald Jerichau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marktstraße in Konstantinopel mit Hagia Sophia, which sold at auction in November 2018 for EUR 4,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Beach view from the South von Harald Jerichau kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 9.500,00 (€ 1.274,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Harald Jerichau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marktstraße in Konstantinopel mit Hagia Sophia beobachtet, die im November 2018 für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert wurde.
