In January 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Photography: Jean Albou Collection, which included the work Sicile, Les Rameurs, Circa 1955 by Hans Silvester. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,735.00 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hans Silvester have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 3,083.00 in November 2006 for the work Hommes Ramant, Sicile, Circa 1960.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Photography: Jean Albou Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sicile, Les Rameurs, Circa 1955 von Hans Silvester zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.735,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hans Silvester haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.083,00 im November 2006 für die Arbeit Hommes Ramant, Sicile, Circa 1960 beobachtet.
