Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hans von Bartels could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A Dutch Fisherwoman Carrying Buckets; Verso Sorting The Catch changed hands for EUR 1,188.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans von Bartels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An der stürmischen Küste in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 15,480.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans von Bartels konnte im September 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours wechselte die Arbeit A Dutch Fisherwoman Carrying Buckets; Verso Sorting The Catch für EUR 1.188,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans von Bartels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An der stürmischen Küste im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.480,00.
