This artwork by Hans van Ieperen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Boslaan - Forest path sold for EUR 1,553.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hans van Ieperen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Het kasteel - The castle sold at auction in January 2007 with the realized price of EUR 2,040.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans van Ieperen erzielte im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Boslaan - Forest path für EUR 1.553,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hans van Ieperen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Het kasteel - The castle im Januar 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.040,00.
