This artwork by Hans Tisdall achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2013. In the The Sunday Sale auction, the work A Cornfield sold for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,896.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Tisdall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Strand Landschaft (Shorescape), which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 4,780.00 (€ 7,155.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Tisdall erzielte im Januar 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Sunday Sale wurde die Arbeit A Cornfield für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.896,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Tisdall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Strand Landschaft (Shorescape) beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 4.780,00 (€ 7.155,22) versteigert wurde.
