Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Scenery from the garden at Krabbesholm near Skive by Hans Smidth for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 2,184.93). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Smidth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 8,000.00 (€ 6,991.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scenery from the garden at Krabbesholm near Skive von Hans Smidth für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 2.184,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Smidth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 8.000,00 (€ 6.991,78) versteigert wurde.
