Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Hans Smidth could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Hen in the reeds changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.18) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Smidth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 6,991.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Smidth konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Hen in the reeds für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Smidth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 6.991,78).
