Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Et marked og “Ved et Aaløb” by Hans Smidth was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Smidth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 6,991.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Et marked og “Ved et Aaløb” von Hans Smidth kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Smidth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 6.991,78).
