In October 2015 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Composition - 1957 by Hans Reichel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,370.00 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hans Reichel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morgenstern in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,298.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition - 1957 von Hans Reichel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.370,00 und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Reichel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Morgenstern im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.298,62).
