Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Topographical Observations: Picture your world, which included the work A summer's day on the flowermarket with the Munttoren in the distance, Amsterdam by Hans Herrmann. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,650.00 24% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Herrmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selling Flowers on the Flower Market, Amsterdam, which sold at auction in May 2010 for EUR 18,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Topographical Observations: Picture your world durch, in der auch die Arbeit A summer's day on the flowermarket with the Munttoren in the distance, Amsterdam von Hans Herrmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.650,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Herrmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selling Flowers on the Flower Market, Amsterdam beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für EUR 18.750,00 versteigert wurde.
