Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work The Hunt; also a companion painting by Hans Haag. The price achieved of USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,080.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Hans Haag have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2001 the work A huntsman on horseback with two hounds was auctioned for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,430.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hunt; also a companion painting von Hans Haag zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.080,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hans Haag konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2001 die Arbeit A huntsman on horseback with two hounds für GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.430,73) versteigert.
