In December 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 2, which included the work Espace Concentre , 1963-1965 by Hans Bischoffshausen. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,590.00 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hans Bischoffshausen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landschaft in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Espace Concentre , 1963-1965 von Hans Bischoffshausen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.590,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bischoffshausen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landschaft im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
