Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Am Eingang zum Vatikan by Hans Beat Wieland was sold in the Dekorative Kunst auction at VAN HAM in January 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 581.00 16% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Beat Wieland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gebirgslandschaft (Piz Palü), 1898 Mountain View (Mount Palü), 1898 in November 2011 with an auction result of CHF 30,000.00 (€ 24,487.47).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Am Eingang zum Vatikan von Hans Beat Wieland wurde im Januar 2014 in der Auktion Dekorative Kunst bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 581,00 und damit 16% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Beat Wieland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gebirgslandschaft (Piz Palü), 1898 Mountain View (Mount Palü), 1898 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 30.000,00 (€ 24.487,47).
