Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Singing girl by Hannah Frank. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 600.00 (€ 882.94), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hannah Frank - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bird Woman, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,123.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Singing girl von Hannah Frank zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 882,94) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hannah Frank mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bird Woman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.123,67) versteigert wurde.
