Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work The Swan by Han Meilin was worth HKD 108,000.00 (€ 13,060.56) to a buyer in October this year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Han Meilin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rooster in April this year with an auction result of HKD 74,400.00 (€ 75,976.96).

Die Arbeit The Swan von Han Meilin war einem Käufer im Oktober diesen Jahres HKD 108.000,00 (€ 13.060,56) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Han Meilin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rooster im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 74.400,00 (€ 75.976,96).
