Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vase, 1974 by Han Kisuk was sold in the Japanese and Korean Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2013. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,950.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Han Kisuk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moon and dragonfly, 1973, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,096.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vase, 1974 von Han Kisuk wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.950,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Han Kisuk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moon and dragonfly, 1973 beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.096,44) versteigert wurde.
