A top price for Hamid El Kanbouhi - as previously expected
The work Dans by Hamid El Kanbouhi was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection auction at Bonhams in London in August 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,456.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dans is the most expensive artwork by Hamid El Kanbouhi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Dans von Hamid El Kanbouhi wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.456,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Dans das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hamid El Kanbouhi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
