Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hale Tenger could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art/ Turkish auction, the work Amidst changed hands for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,969.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Hale Tenger have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2009 by the work Invainers Of The Lost Ark Ii at GBP 36,050.00 (€ 38,874.52).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hale Tenger konnte im April 2011 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish wechselte die Arbeit Amidst für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.969,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hale Tenger wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2009 die Arbeit Invainers Of The Lost Ark Ii mit GBP 36.050,00 (€ 38.874,52).
