Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Windhover by Hendrik Johannes Slijper was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,080.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hendrik Johannes Slijper have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2006 the work A view of Naarden vesting was auctioned for EUR 1,440.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Windhover von Hendrik Johannes Slijper kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.080,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Johannes Slijper konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2006 die Arbeit A view of Naarden vesting für EUR 1.440,00 versteigert.
