This artwork by Guy Yanai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in July this year. In the New Now auction, the work Gilboa Balcony Plant sold for GBP 38,100.00 (€ 44,451.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guy Yanai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bompard Interior, which sold at auction in July this year for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,902.67).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Guy Yanai erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Gilboa Balcony Plant für GBP 38.100,00 (€ 44.451,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Guy Yanai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bompard Interior beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.902,67) versteigert wurde.
