Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction Tableaux 1400 - 1900, which included the work Nativité by Guy François. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 7,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Guy François have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work Saint Francis With The Virgin And Child was auctioned for EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Tableaux 1400 - 1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nativité von Guy François zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 7.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Guy François konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2018 die Arbeit Saint Francis With The Virgin And Child für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert.
