Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Maternity by Guy Cambier for GBP 537.75 (€ 795.88). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Guy Cambier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work NATURE MORTE AU BOUQUET de FLEURS in January 2007 with an auction result of EUR 4,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Maternity von Guy Cambier für GBP 537,75 (€ 795,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy Cambier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit NATURE MORTE AU BOUQUET de FLEURS im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.080,00.
