Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A coffee pot, pears and a wine glass on a draped table by Guy Cambier. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 937.50 (€ 1,010.95), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Guy Cambier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work NATURE MORTE AU BOUQUET de FLEURS in January 2007 with an auction result of EUR 4,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A coffee pot, pears and a wine glass on a draped table von Guy Cambier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.010,95) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy Cambier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit NATURE MORTE AU BOUQUET de FLEURS im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.080,00.
