Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guy Cambier could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A winter street scene changed hands for GBP 216.00 (€ 313.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Cambier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work NATURE MORTE AU BOUQUET de FLEURS in January 2007 with an auction result of EUR 4,080.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Guy Cambier konnte im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit A winter street scene für GBP 216,00 (€ 313,31) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Cambier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit NATURE MORTE AU BOUQUET de FLEURS im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.080,00.
