In April 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction The New York Sale, which included the work Mid-Winter At The Metropolitan Museum by Guy Arthur Wiggins. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,958.97), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guy Arthur Wiggins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St. Patrick'S And Its Neighbors After Snowfall, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 40,625.00 (€ 28,850.93).
