Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gustavo Acosta could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work From Heaven changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 7,919.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Gustavo Acosta have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October this year by the work Mil Novecientos Noventa y Dos at USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,307.34).
