Executed in 1959.
Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Provence - Estuaire, Soleil, et Sable by Gustave Singier was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,391.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustave Singier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Intérieur Flamand, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 56,250.00.

Die Arbeit Provence - Estuaire, Soleil, et Sable von Gustave Singier kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 27.391,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustave Singier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Intérieur Flamand beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 56.250,00 versteigert wurde.
