Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Femme Au Piano - 1943 by Gustave Singier. The price achieved of EUR 11,808.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Singier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Intérieur Flamand in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme Au Piano - 1943 von Gustave Singier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.808,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Singier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Intérieur Flamand im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
