A top price for Gustave François Lasellaz - as previously expected
In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Elegantes aux bord de la mer by Gustave François Lasellaz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,650.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Elegantes aux bord de la mer is the most expensive artwork by Gustave François Lasellaz that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elegantes aux bord de la mer von Gustave François Lasellaz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.107,00 (€ 4.650,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
