In May this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Portrait of a young woman by Gustav Theodor Wegener. The result of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,073.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustav Theodor Wegener achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autoportrait in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 16,900.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a young woman von Gustav Theodor Wegener zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.073,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustav Theodor Wegener erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autoportrait im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.900,00.
