In April 2001 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work An Oriental woman by Gustav Rienäcker. The price achieved of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,092.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00.
