A top price for Gustav Ranzoni - as previously expected
The work Cattle Watering by Gustav Ranzoni was sold in the British and Continental Pictures including Marine pictures auction at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006. The price achieved of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,276.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cattle Watering is the most expensive artwork by Gustav Ranzoni that we have observed at auctions so far.
