Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gustav Krollmann could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Vintage Posters auction, the work North Coast Limited, The Montana Rockies changed hands for GBP 812.50 (€ 949.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Gustav Krollmann have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June this year by the work Montana/Northern Pacific at USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,406.59).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gustav Krollmann konnte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Vintage Posters wechselte die Arbeit North Coast Limited, The Montana Rockies für GBP 812,50 (€ 949,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gustav Krollmann wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres die Arbeit Montana/Northern Pacific mit USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.406,59).
