Despite a disappointment, a good price for Gustaf Ankarcrona
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Summer landscape from Dalarna by Gustaf Ankarcrona for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,457.06). This price was achieved in the auction Klassiska at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Summer landscape from Dalarna is the most expensive artwork by Gustaf Ankarcrona that we have observed at auction so far.
