Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Gunleif Grube could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work “Lalleleif”, 2000 changed hands for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Gunleif Grube have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Erindringen” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 16,000.00 (€ 13,983.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gunleif Grube konnte im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit “Lalleleif”, 2000 für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gunleif Grube auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Erindringen” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 16.000,00 (€ 13.983,57).
