Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction British and Continental Pictures including Marine pictures, which included the work Time For Tea by Guillaume Larrue. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,514.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guillaume Larrue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Escalier de Marbre À Versailles; Intérieur D'Un Palais, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 3,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion British and Continental Pictures including Marine pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Time For Tea von Guillaume Larrue zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.514,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Larrue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Escalier de Marbre À Versailles; Intérieur D'Un Palais beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 3.600,00 versteigert wurde.
