The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,012.50 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guillaume Romain Fouace - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A bundt cake, a glass bowl with confiture, a bottle of Dom Benedictine liqueur and a tin of pastilles and éclairs, which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 23,750.00.

Die Arbeit Fruits à l'eau de vie von Guillaume Romain Fouace wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Home & Interiors bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.012,50 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Romain Fouace mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A bundt cake, a glass bowl with confiture, a bottle of Dom Benedictine liqueur and a tin of pastilles and éclairs beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 23.750,00 versteigert wurde.
