Signed Gudmar. Numbered 3/10. Foundry mark A Valsuani cire perdue. Bronze, dark patina. Height 46 cm (including stone base 50 cm), length 13 cm (including stone base 14 cm), width 12 cm (including stone base 13 cm). The motif conceived 1967.
Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gudmar Olovson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work "La Voix" (The voice) changed hands for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 8,964.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gudmar Olovson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Dusk" (or Twilight), which sold at auction in June 2021 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,716.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gudmar Olovson konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit "La Voix" (The voice) für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 8.964,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gudmar Olovson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Dusk" (or Twilight) beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.716,41) versteigert wurde.
