The work Still Life by Guan Liang was worth HKD 2,440,000.00 (€ 231,339.12) to a buyer in November 2013. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Guan Liang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hardoon Garden (Xihu) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,225,434.78).
Kunstwerk zum Zwölffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Still Life von Guan Liang war einem Käufer im November 2013 HKD 2.440.000,00 (€ 231.339,12) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Liang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hardoon Garden (Xihu) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 1.225.434,78).
