A top price for Guan Liang - as previously expected
The work Hardoon Garden (Xihu) by Guan Liang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The auction ended at the price of HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,225,434.78), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 900,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hardoon Garden (Xihu) is the most expensive artwork by Guan Liang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Hardoon Garden (Xihu) von Guan Liang wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 1.225.434,78) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 900.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Hardoon Garden (Xihu) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Guan Liang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
