In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work B25 by Gu Dexin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,122.88), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gu Dexin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work B03 in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,940,000.00 (€ 179,158.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit B25 von Gu Dexin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.122,88) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Dexin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit B03 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.940.000,00 (€ 179.158,24).
