Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Green Still Life' by Grigory Alexandrovich Sretensky was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,209.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Grigory Alexandrovich Sretensky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study Of A Nude, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,818.30).
