Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Composition by Greta Knutson-Tzara was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,884.55). Admittedly, works by Greta Knutson-Tzara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition. in November 2021 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 25,361.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Composition von Greta Knutson-Tzara im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.884,55) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Greta Knutson-Tzara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition. im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 25.361,92).
