Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Sunlit Hilltop by Gregorio Prestopino for USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,017.21). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregorio Prestopino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The City in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,206.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sunlit Hilltop von Gregorio Prestopino für USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.017,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Prestopino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The City im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.206,56).
