Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ulysses Grant Speed could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online auction, the work From Broncs to Bronzes: A Bookend changed hands for USD 812.50 (€ 714.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ulysses Grant Speed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work John Wayne in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,689.60).
