The work Mujer Angel (Angel Woman), Sonora Desert - 1980 by Graciela Iturbide was worth EUR 10,400.00 to a buyer in October 2015. This price was achieved in the auction Photography Collection of Amedeo M. Turello at Artcurial and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Graciela Iturbide; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mujer ángel, Desierto de Sonora, México (Angel Woman, Sonora Desert, Mexico) sold at auction in June 2019 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,697.55).
