Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Grisebach held the auction Auktionen 222-228 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts, which included the work In der Stube. by Gotthardt Kuehl. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gotthardt Kuehl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Paar am Teetisch“. in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 35,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Grisebach die Auktion Auktionen 222-228 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts durch, in der auch die Arbeit In der Stube. von Gotthardt Kuehl zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gotthardt Kuehl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Paar am Teetisch“. im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.000,00.
